Solutions (HealthHub Solutions) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Niagara Health (NH), which was inked in June 2022. HealthHub Solutions will be outfitting 665 Integrated Bedside Terminals (IBT) to three Niagara Health sites, serving thousands of patients across the Niagara region.<\/p><p>In January 2022, NH posted a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a patient-centric, scalable solution that had the potential to evolve with the needs and demands of its Welland, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines hospital sites and their patients. A new hospital under development and learnings from COVID-19 shone a light on the opportunity at the patient\u2019s bedside. Niagara Health also needed a seamless, turnkey offering across all three sites, reducing the need for additional hospital resources.<\/p><p>Following a six month-long RFP process, HealthHub Solutions won the contract. While HealthHub had an existing relationship with NH\u2019s Welland and Niagara Falls sites as the television provider for their patients, the company is evolving to a digital bedside solution that tackles the biggest issues in healthcare, by identifying and aggregating applications at the point of care. This unique platform optimizes the patient and staff experience, health outcomes and cost savings. Niagara Health valued HealthHub\u2019s flexible, scalable technology that allows for greater engagement from patients and providers, including a platform-native secure video chat function that doesn\u2019t require user registration or a password.<\/p><p>\u201cAfter COVID we realized the importance of enabling patients the freedom to connect, learn and engage with their healthcare and the world around them, in addition to addressing the evolving entertainment desires of our communities.\u201d says Sonali Kohli, Vice President of Diagnostics and Chief Information Officer at Niagara Health. \u201cThroughout the RFP process we discovered that HealthHub\u2019s offering was far more than what we had even imagined was possible at the bedside and beyond.
